Maker of Things spent four years working for one of the premiere manufacturers of Highland Pewter Jewellery in the UK, one of the last of these companies whose manufacturing facilities remain in Scotland rather than being outsourced overseas.

Working in the pewter casting workshop, first as an apprentice and then as chief craftsman, Maker of Things made numerous innovations and improvements to the quality and efficiency of this workshop before leaving in 2010 to start his own company designing his own products to sell directly to the public.

Since that time Maker of Things has built up a multi-purpose workshop capable of constructing virtually anything the mind can imagine. Maker of Things is constantly looking for new challenges to tackle, as every new project results in new skills and techniques, many of which have never before been conceived of, nor used in artisanry.
